My name is Anais Diaz. I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. For the past 15 years I have had the privilege to live and work in cosmopolitan cities such as Miami, Dallas, and Los Angeles, which has given me a broad view on cultural diversity. I enjoy people from all walks of life, I am caring, creative and fun.
My passion for working with children dates to when I was a teenager and I got my first job as a kid's birthday entertainer. I had so much fun, I realized that I wanted to build a career working with kids, but my empathy and caring for others is what drifted me to social work, where I could merge my two passions. Since then, I have worked for many organizations giving parenting classes and helping kids in the community. I have also done tutoring and behavioral intervention for kids on the autism spectrum. I got certified as a yoga teacher for kids, teenagers and trauma informed yoga. I am also a certified WISDOM coach.
Early in my social worker career I understood the importance of being in contact with our mind, body and soul to live a healthy life. So for over a decade now, I have practiced multidisciplinary techniques such as dance, mindfulness and meditation to incorporate their advantages into my work. I love to help my clients empower themselves and achieve their best potential.
My hobbies are dancing, yoga, painting, meditating, reading, traveling and going to the theater
